When my little sister Karoline turns eighteen (in October) we’re both getting this tattooed on us. It’s from Kat Von D’s book “High Voltage Tattoo” in her letter to her sister, Karoline. I read it outloud and my sister and I both cried. What she was writing to Karoline us in a nutshell.

“We share the same voice, same laugh, sense of humor, shitty temper and stubborness. I only wish you knew how cool I think you are.”

Then the part that makes us cry the most<3

“I always wished so badly I could be like you. Everything I do is for you. No one knows me as well as you do. No one loves me as truly and completely. Without you — I’m nothing.”

As much as I “hate” my sister, I would be nothing without her. I don’t wanna imagine my life without her in it. She makes EVERYTHING fun. We butt heads a lot because even though neither of us will admit it, we’re two of the most stubborn people in the world. But I do not care who you are, if you mess with my sister— you WILL regret it. I promise you. No one is allowed to bully my sister …except me!! Which is usually the other way around seeing as she’s stronger than me. :| Aly and AJ Michalka say they’re the first set of twins to be born two years apart?! Well, we’re the first set of twins to be born six years apart. Suck it, Aly and AJ! :P

I’m seriously beyond stoked for this. We’re getting it just like this, in Kat Von D’s handwriting. Maybe black ink, though… unless the red ink would look good. I don’t know, we’ve got a few months to figure it out. Try and tell me I’m NOT the coolest sister ever… buying my little sister a tattoo for her birthday. Jealous?! (;
